Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First of all, Chris was fantastic when I went to pick up the van. He explained how everything worked, which I really appreciated since this was the first time I'd used a camper van.

The actual camper is great, it's new, clean, and has all the things you need, including a fridge, sink/water, and a gas hob. There were three of us in the van and we had plenty of space, using the awning as a place to put clothes and shoes, as well as to set up the supplied tables and chairs. We took it to Silverstone for 5 days, had a great time, and the van was exactly what we needed!

We hired a campervan from Go West Self Drive for our first ever campervan adventure and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

From the very beginning, Chris was fantastic. He was friendly, welcoming, and took the time to explain everything we needed to know which really put us at ease as first-time campervan users. Nothing was too much trouble and his advice helped make our trip stress-free.

We had an amazing time exploring Yorkshire, and the campervan was perfect – clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and a pleasure to drive. It had everything we needed for a brilliant getaway.

We made some wonderful memories and have definitely caught the campervan bug! We’d highly recommend Go West Self Drive to anyone thinking of hiring a campervan, whether it’s your first trip or you’re an experienced traveller. Thanks again, Chris – we’ll definitely be back!

We recently hired this campervan for a trip and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The booking process was straightforward, and both the collection and return of the vehicle were smooth and hassle-free.

The campervan itself was immaculate—clean, sparkling new, and very comfortable throughout our trip. It was well-equipped and a pleasure to drive and stay in.

Chris, the owner, was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and easy to communicate with. He was always quick to respond and made the whole experience stress-free.

We wouldn’t hesitate to use this service again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality campervan rental. Thanks again, Chris! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

GO WEST! rear-lounge campervans

Our Renault Trafic campers - standard layout - have a twin passenger front seat, so three can travel up front. When parked the twin seat swivels to face the large central lounge/dining area. A rear bench seat/convertible bed has two inertia-reel seatbelts, plus ISOFIX mountings for your child seats. (Not supplied.)

Our rear lounge layout has a U-shaped rear seating/dining area that converts to a bed, plus extra side windows at the rear, and no swivel front seat. This layout also features twin rear seatbelts with ISOFIX points for child seats.

All vans come fully-equipped with a 2-ring gas hob and sink with water on tap. There's an electric fridge-freezer, and warm-air heating for the living area.

Both layouts feature a cosy double bed 'downstairs'. Raising the pop-top gives full standing headroom in the main section of the van, plus a fun double berth accessed by ladder - for once the kids will love going to bed!

Rental includes (as required) a linen pack with four pillows, 1 double and 2 single duvets, plus sheets for both beds. Black-out curtains are also provided for all windows.

Our optional drive-away awning/tent transforms your space options if you're making camp for more than a night - you can even leave it pitched on a secure campsite while you take the van away on day trips, etc. (N.B. Drive-away tents are available only for summer bookings, unless otherwise agreed.)
